Hi everyone. I was told that if I put my camera on DVCAM mode that its better. I'm using a Sony PD170, whats the difference, and which is better? Thanks!

DVCAM moves faster so there is more information on the tape, thus a better picture. You can record DVCAM on a DV tape but it will hold less (in terms of minutes) I can't remember exactly but it's about 40 minutes on a 60 minute tape.
